Lunar Eclipse Safari

July 27, 2018

A total lunar eclipse occurs at the beginning of Tanzania’s dry season in 2018. This blood moon will be the last lunar eclipse to envelop all of Africa for nearly two decades. The next rises in 2036.

With virtually zero light pollution, the rolling safari plains are the ultimate location to see the blood moon cast its crimson glow.

Catch the eclipse on select safaris departing in mid July or request to see it on your own custom safari.
